What are anti-wrinkle injections?
The product acts to block the nerve signals that cause muscle’s to contract. The small injections temporarily relax these muscles, which in turn softens and reduces any unwanted lines and wrinkles.
Results
Some clients notice results within the first 3-4 days however, the full effect will be seen at 14 days post-treatment.
Appointment time
Treatments typically take less than 45 minutes depending on how many area’s are treated. Advice will be provided on the appropriateness of this treatment during your initial consultation when a full medical history will also be taken. Anti-wrinkle injections are not suitable for those who have neuromuscular conditions or are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or under the age of 18 years. A booking fee of £50 is required at the point of booking.
Downtime
There is very little downtime required after your treatment. Numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to your treatment to minimise any discomfort during the procedure. Following your treatment you may experience some redness, mild discomfort or swelling to the injection sites. These effects should resolve within one week. If you have any concerns please contact us to discuss further. You should avoid taking St John’s wort, Aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, or vitamin E (in high doses) for a minimum of one week following your treatment. You will be provided with a post-treatment checklist.
