Having trained in Harley Street, Paula has advanced her practice over the years and qualified as a Non-medical Prescriber in 2018 enabling her to prescribe aesthetic products tailored towards her client’s needs.
What are Dermal Fillers
Dermal filler’s contain Hyaluronic Acid, (a natural substance is found in the skin), which diminishes over time resulting in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, loss of volume and elasticity of the skin. Dermal filler’s provide a natural way of restoring hydration improving those fine lines and wrinkles, boosting and replenishing the appearance, and accentuating features of the face.
Results
The results are instant and should last for up to 6 months or more. The lasting effect is dependent on the product and the amount used. It will also depend on each individual.
Appointment Time
Treatments typically take less than one hour depending on the area to be treated. Advice will be provided during your initial consultation during which a full medical history will also be taken. Dermal Fillers are not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the age of 18 years. A booking fee of £50 is required at the point of booking.
Downtime
There is very little downtime required after your treatment. Numbing cream is applied to the skin/lips prior to your treatment to minimise any discomfort during the procedure. Following your treatment you may experience some redness, mild discomfort or swelling to the injection sites. These effects should resolve within one week. If you have any concerns please contact us to discuss further. You should avoid taking St John’s wort, Aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications or vitamin E (in high doses) for a minimum of one week following your treatment. You will be provided with a post-treatment checklist.
