What is involved
Following a medical consultation, our clinicians will help you to decide which treatments best suit your needs. A small cannula (plastic tube) will be inserted into a vein in your arm, numbing cream is available for those who are needle phobic. The bag of IV nutrients will be attached to the cannula and you can relax in the clinic whilst the bag is slowly infused. The whole process takes between 30-60 minutes. The shots are intramuscular injections which are usually injected into the gluteus muscle (buttock).
Are there any risks?
